I've been watching the recently rescued fish to see if any of their more "troubling" symptoms continue, and for the most part, they haven't. It seems good water has helped them out greatly.

Amazingly, none of the fish appear to have any burns, ich, or finrot. However, one of the fish still has extremely dark eyes. This fish is the one that I rescued last, and he had to stay in the brandy-pepsi-ed water for about a day before I got to him. All of the fish came to me with the area around the pupil (iris, I suppose this is, the area around the pupil) being rather black, but the first three's eyes returned to a normal color within a few hours after being moved to clean water.

All of the fish are equally active and fed regularly. I feed them every other day and small amounts even then. The smaller fish have to be fed flake food because their mouths are too small for the pellets, while the bigger fish get the pellets.

The affected fish, Junior, is about a 2" long comet, and, as I said, spent the extra day in the crappy water. I just changed the water about 30% last night, and all of the fish are in the same tank, since I figured they would all have the same problems, so treatment would be easier if they were together.

I know for sure that there was a lot of copper in the other tank, since there were lots of pennies in the tank along with some electrical components rusting inside it. Any ideas on what this might be and how to treat it?
