Hey guys! I hope you are all doing well!

Well, as some of you know, I decided to go with 6 angel fish in my 50 gallon, and hope for a pair. They've been with me for almost 3 weeks, and are now feeling at home....Maybe a bit too much at home! They have been pecking at my live plants now, and I'm afraid that they're going to ruin them! :( I threw some bloodworm in there for them to distract them, and it did, until it was all eaten, but now they are at it again. They've uprooted one stem, tore off 2 inches of another, and are now poking at the hornwort (which I don't mind so much)..but what could be causing them to act so obnoxious?

I never had that problem except with the fine leaved plants like hornwort.

You may not be feeding them enough greens, and so they feel the need to compensate with what's on hand. Get some good spirulina based food and see how they do.
