A while back one of my LR was covered with what i thought was brown algae or coral line die off. First i blamed the poor PC light i used. (i dont know if it was full spectrum or not.) But that light acually created a explosion of diatoms to form.
i just thought that was interesting. They died back down now and the coral line is growing back steadly.
