Did my molly have a stroke?

So about four weeks ago my molly was a happy girl in her undersized tank. She's swim around just fine, even semi-schooling with the glofish I had her in with. Then about three weeks ago I get home and she looks like she had a stroke. She was all bent up and looked like she had a huge muscle spasm on half of her body. So I pull her out and isolate her for a day, but she sort of snaps out of it and is just "sort of bent" a little bit. This eventually goes away and she's now completely shy to everyone, but no bad bends.

Fast forward to about two days ago and she gets all pretzel shaped again. She's in a bigger tank with less fish now. But her tail is pointing to the side.

I've done some looking and two different diagnosis' have been "fish scholiosis" or "mineral depletion". She eats well, and has taken a serious liking to my new anacharis (munch munch munch) but...she's all gimpy.

So what am I screwing up to make her do this?

Here's a photo visual assistance. (Oof, bright light tells me I need to clean the outside of my tank too!)

I had a batch of pearl danio that one-by-one died from what I suspect was fish TB. None made it out of QT (started at 2 week, but I'd restart the count-down everytime one died). The symptoms you describe is what happened to my fish.

The only way to know for sure is to have the body sent to a lab for analysis (not cheap).

I ended up tossing all the plants in the tank (just floating plants), and the filter's media, and ran bleach-water through the tank for a week.

This was over 3 years ago, and I've never had problems with fish in that QT tank since then.

I talked with the local fish guru (he's actually smart about these things.). He pretty much doesn't think its viral or bacterial, but genetic. She was the only one doing this, and had gotten better, then relapsed. I haven't done anything to the tank. But I did euthanize her. Every option available ended in "she'll either die or be like this for life". It'd be cruel to make her live like that forever.

Crushed cloves for 10 seconds (To make her sleep), four shots of J&B. Man, she was so tiny when her fins weren't out.
