I was singing this song all day today... Cuz I was kept up all night by a certain female red zebra, digging a rather LARGE hole in my tank.
The hole itself is under the new rocks in the tank, its about 6" in diameter, and goes all the way down 2" into the substrate (the glass bottom of the tank is now visible)
The Male and female have not shown any signs of mating behaviour (in fact all you see is them regularly chasing eachother around the tank in a territorial dispute)
Any idea why she would suddenly dig this hole? Should I be expecting to see fry in the not too distant future?
