Disappearing shrimp eggs?

So today I was looking at my shrimps, and 3/4 of the eggs under her tail were gone. I tried looking to see if they have hatched, but couldn't find any babies? So I was wondering what the heck is going on. Is she eating them herself, or are the othe shrimps eating off her? Just can't figure it out?!

or she dropped some and the fish ate them.

I purchased 9 ghost shrimp and half of them had eggs...i never saw any loose eggs or baby shrimp and soon there were no shrimp carrying eggs, so I have to figure that my whole tank just had a constant food source till all the eggs were gone

yah or she planted them in the gravel and if u have loaches they ate them!

Why would she plant them in the gravel? I thought she carries the eggs under her tail, until their ready to hatch?

they do- I have never heard of a shrimp that buries their eggs.

I had 60 ghost shrimp. About half had eggs. In my 55g, I only found one baby. In my 10g where I had 4 egg-loaded shrimp, I still only had one baby. Don't be surprised.
