discussion suggestion

while reading through the post i notice alot of people's suggestions for water temperature, they say warm or cool, cold, i live in southern texas, its 90 deg outside right now, so keeping the house 72 deg is cool for me, where as someone up north, that could be considered warm, so please try and specify a temperature your talking about instead of a general warm,cold statement, it would help out alot.

90F is considered warm for water temp in the tanks and 72F is considered cool! Doesnt matter where you are geographicly!

I know what you mean though about the general comments of warm/cool water.

I keep my tanks around 78. Those without heaters are around 74-75.

When required, for sick fish etc. temp becomes 82.

Don't worry about temperature, enjoy your fish.

its not so much for me, i just thought that new people might not really understand, and like i said peopleview temeratures different, example was a betta discussion, heated or not, some said keep the water warm like room temperature, my house stays 68-72 deg yearlong, do you consider that warm?

Good question! Depends on the perspective! Cool for a fish (depending on the species of course), just right for me! I know what you mean!
