Disease?

When i came home from school today i noticed that my blue gourami has like white patches toward the back of his body and his belly looks kind of yellow. Its a 20g tank thats being cycling about 2 weeks and i just added him in. He doesnt seem sick hes swimming and eating like normal what is this? Also i think i had a bacteria bloom like 2 days ago but it seemed to settle down quickly. The little bit of cloudiness is all gone today. Dunno if that does anythnig either

It wasn't the best thing to add a fish to a tank that's cycling. The ammonia and nitrites weaken the fish's immune system, putting them at greater risk of disease. You could add some Melafix to help heal his wounds, but it would be better if you could take him back to the store while your tank cycles. Also, blue gouramis tend to be very aggressive towards eachother. I would guess he is the subordinate one, and is being stressed by the dominant gourami.

The bacterial bloom isn't anything to worry about, as you know your tank is cycling.
