Are you talking about putting your CO2 into your air pump? That doesn't sound like a good idea cause DIY CO2 just comes out at the rate it is produced and a pump would most liekly make a real big mess. What type of filter do you have. Most people have the CO2 enter their HOB filter intake but to me it's noisy and annoying. You can also buy a bubble stone or even better a diffuser.

No pump? Guess I read something wrong. >.<

Anyway, yea, i have a HOB filter and a sponge filter I can use. I'll look into the diffuser, but for now, how would I hook the CO2 up to be distributed into the tank?

Thanks a ton! I now have two 2l and a little bottle (550 something mL i believe) on my 5g.

The small bottle is already producing Co2, although, I just kinda poured some yeast and suger into it. I'll scale down the 2L recipe sometime and get it right.

I went ahead and did two 2L's. I have one in my 29g and one in my 10g (prolly gonna put a few plants in it in a few days.)

Thanks so much for the help! *celebrate

Well, was doing fine in 5 and 10g but in my 29g I am having major backflow problems. The bottle is sitting above the water line and I have the tube going into the filters intake through the grill part (in the very bottom of it, the tube is facing upwards).

How can I stop back flow? It's slowing the Co2 down a ton.
