DIY sump/refugium

Hey all this is the week im gonna ditch the canister and build a 2in1 sump/refugium.

Im gonna use a 29g glass aquarium and silicone in some partitions and do the whole bit.

Does anyone have any pointers, precautions ,warnings, or personal stories that might help me in getting this done with minimal streess to me and the tank?

make sure you let the silicone dry, you will be pissed when it leaks because you were over anxious to get water in there and test it out (personal experience speaking here)
