Do Clown Loaches have sensitive skin?

Well, luckily for me, I think the what-appeared-to-be-Ich is gone from my new CLs.

I have noticed though, that two of them, above their eyes, have what appear to be rubbed off skin. Is their skin sensitive to being rubbed against things? They really like to hide in tight spots against driftwood, the gravel, and the filter. Would this give them raw skin?

If not, I suppose I'll have to see if it's fungus or something...

Yes, a clown loaches skin is easily scraped. It's not usually something to worry about, but you should keep an eye in case the skin was broken and an infection sets in.

I just wanted to make sure they were okay. The scratches don't look too bad- the skin just looked a little raw, but not broken. But I'll be sure to keep a close eye on them!
