I was wondering..do soft corals like zoos and polyps need food besides light?
I saw some product called Marine Snow..its a zooplankton in liquid sollution. Do I need that if I want to raise softies?

thanks Wayne. I must have missed that thread..

Marc Weiss..? I'm not sure. I saw MArine Snow mentioned in the Dr Foster SMith catalog. Its supposed to be a good filter type food and requires refrigeration after its opened..

Well the fact it needs refrigerating is good, but it's always tough to know if you're feeding the right size particle. But frankly I wouldn't really count either of these groups as classic filter feeders, though my zo's seem to enjoy cyclopeeze freexe dried zooplznkton

hmmm thanks wayne. I never thought that corals would need food cause the books i read say that they use photosynthesis as their food source. Good thing I asked!

Maybe I will get the Cyclopeeze instead of Marine Snow since no one else has mentioned using Marine Snow before. Does cyclopeeze require refrigeration? thats the stuff that comes in red packets right? and how do you feed it..some sorta dropper?
