i recently bought two catfish... the store called them "angelicus cats" i have a feeling they made up that name =/
they are silverywhite with black spots... i would put pictures up if i could but i cant sorry... but if u have any idea or pictures u think could posibly be the same fish... then please let me know!!! =)

thankyou!!!! i will look at both of those and see which it is... i have two of them if they do get 12cm do u think a 15 gal tank is to small??? its only the two of them in there and they are very small now

OK!! im pretty sure i found out what they are... they do not look like synodontis angelicus... so maybe the store had the wrong label or those were the fish that were there before the ones i bought were..... but they do look like Pictus catfish...of the Peruvian variety!! thanx a bunch for the help and narrowing things down a lot!!! they grow to be about 4.8'' and i have them both in 1 15 gallon tank.. will that work out good?

Angelicus are black with white spots but there are a whole load of synodontid cats which are white with black. However it sounds like you've identified yours as Pim. pictus. Nice fish, might work in a 15, might not as they like to swim fast a lot
