My neighbors recently gave me a tank/hood/stand which I understand is rather old. Anyway, one of the bulbs in the hood works, and the other doesn't. I'm going to need both of them alive, though. The bulbs are 30W 36", but they're not the same diameter as those I've found at Petco - they're smaller. They're about the diameter of the bulbs half their size in length. I wish I knew their width precisely, but I haven't measured them and it isn't printed on the bulbs. Anyway, my question is: Do these bulbs still exist and if so where can I find them?

the ones at petco are smaller or the one in ur tank? flourescent tubes come in two sizes T12 and T8's from what i understand T12 is 1 1/2" and T8 are 1" in diameter, i think homedepot has either size just make sure u got the right length, i'm not sure but petshops might have them also but cheaper at homedepot imo
