dominant male gourami

started out with two bala sharks in tank and have recently added two dwarf red flame gouramis. one is dominating the top of tank, not so much the sharks but the other gourami, so i'm thinking i've been sold two males!! am i best to move the trouble maker or is there another solution? my tank is 60 litres. help!!:confused:

Yes, seperate them quickly. I didn't know any better and bought a reg dwarf gourami and a flame dwarf. The flame wound up dead cuz the other constantly bullied him. And it didn't take long either.
You probably do have 2 males. Females are very hard to find.

To elaborate a bit on this, Flame gourami's are just a coloration of dwarf gourami's not a seperate species so to find a female is still going to be very difficult as the female will be very dull so therefore unlikely to be found in stores as roark said. So the answer is yes you most likely do have 2 males. IMO I would seperate them or return one of them.
