drilling tank

whats involved in drilling out a tank for a sump/ref. ?? i mean im sure ill need a special drill bit right?? this week ill be buying prolly the 15 gallon and im defintly setin up a sump thats kinda the point of getting the new tank... i need a list of exactly what ill need so if anyone that has done this can help please do *thumbsups

i think its called a diamond bit that you need.

It is a diamond bit. It might be cheaper for you to have someone drill it. Call the local Glass companys and see if they can.

well im not scared to drill it myself... i work with a drill all day just not with glass i build screen enclosures so im sure i can get it done... maybe if it wernt such a cheap tank but since i plan on doin this to the rest of my tanks i might as well practice on a 15 gallon right??

not to mention they dont gaurentee there work most times when drilling glass ive been told
