Drip Acclimation?

So somebody mentioned drip acclimation in a previous thread...how exactly do you do that?

Great link, though I noticed it does say drip aclimation should take no more than one hour. Surely that sounds a bit quick? The slower the water adjustment for the fish/invert, the better. I'll often do a 2 - 3 hour drip. And I find just one knot in a 1/4 inch tubing is suficient.

When ever I do the drip I only take about 30-45 minutes and I have never had a problem.
In my opinion...an hour is plenty enough time!

Im with salty waters they say a few hours, by then oxygen low, ph and temp are all messed up.
