ive had some random Mbuna for about a year and he is a good six inches, and today i noticed he looks bloated and he is breathing heavy, and has no appetite. Could this be dropsy or something else and what should i do. Thanks.
One problem with "dropsy" is that it's not actually a disease. Dropsy is a symptom of bloating, and sometime errect scales, that is caused by any number of infections or other diseases
Another consideration is constipation. Fish can actually die from it and it mostly affects the piggy eaters. Cichlids qualify in that department, at least mine do, ie angels, rams, and discus......
