I'm not too sure if this is what we have here or not. The other day, I noticed one of my smaller female guppies was growing quite large. I figured she may be about to bless me with some more fry, but she doesn't seem to have a gravid spot. Her scales on her belly are sticking out a bit, but it looks exactly as if she's pregnant...what gives? Scales are not sticking out anywhere but on her lower belly. Is this contaigious or does it depend on the particular cause? Whoops, never mind...I guess it does help to use the SEARCH on this site, huh? Sorry!
