Duckweed and other plants

#1
I bought a lil container of duckweed form my LFS and i put it in my tank and it seems okay.. I think the hatchets like it, but it's kind of annyoign to me whatever goes int eh tnak has duckweed on it, especially my arm when i put other plants in...

1. Is it good for the fish?

2. Will it take over the tank and not let the other plants have light?

3. Why do fish eat it?

4. is it high light or low light plant?

5. Should i jsut get rid of it?

6. will it clog my filter, becuase the whole connection of duckweed will frit by the filter and then it will all go flying down to the bottom of the tnak and then rise and the fish eat it?

2.Over time, it will spread to take over the tan, its sort of a weed (hence the name)
3. because it's a great source of veggie that they dont usually ahve in there diet.
4. high light as far as I know
5. I would its a weed
6. It might. I have something similar to duckweed, and as long as i keep the water level up,id doesnt, but if it gets to low, it deffinitally will.
