I have little to nothing to add to this discussion, but I have a question to ask, since lots of people are from the Phoenix area. Does anyone know of a good pet shop to get dwarf ram cichlids in the north Phoenix or even Tempe area? My father-in-law is looking into getting a couple of them for his tank, and since his birthday is coming up before too much longer, I figure it'd make a good present. Thanks!

Aquatouch (Cactus & SR51) is indeed a great store, but it's mostly salt--they have a very, very limited amount of freshwater fish. Granted, what they have is fantastic, there just isn't very much :) You could ask about special orders, though.

I would also recommend a visit to The Ocean Floor (Thomas & I-17). They have a huge selection which is constantly changing--my only qualm with them is that they sell dyed fish. But that, of course, is your decision.

Good luck to you!

I raise German Blue Rams here in Phoenix but all my midsize fry have been sold off. I do have some that are 10 days old but these will be a few months before they go up for sale. Heres a few pictures of my Rams and fry. Sorry the pictures are not the best. Right now I have 2 bloodlines going and I am in the process of bringing in some wild stock. My second bloodline comes out of San Diego from a young lady named Barb aka Sandiegofishes. I sell all my stock for $5.00ea and they don't last long when I put them up for sale and I do ship them all over the U.S including my Discus.

Blue Rams

Thanks for the comments on the fish everyone.

Cichlid-Man you and I are the oppisite I am just a lurker here and decided to register and post the pictures. Seeing how a few people in Phoenix may need some later down the road. I don't advertise them locally at all, just the Discus.
