Does anyone know if you're supposed to put 2 Dwarf Gourami males together in one tank?

I did and sometimes I see them chasing each other the tank..but I dont see any nips or broken fins.

that'a one of those things that 'might' work...if the tank is planted well enough and they have clear boundaries to establish territories, it can work...but it also can be a disaster ending up in the dominant one pestering the weaker one to death.

they are not ones for fin ripping...they go more for not allowing the other to eat, or rest...so the weaker one will succumb to exhaustion or starvation.

I had a male gourami that killed his girlfriend and half the tank in a 30. I will never ever buy another one again. This was my second encounter with the same results. Those little guys are very pretty - and mean as hell, but if you must have them, I would suggest having one male to two -three females.
