I read that the Dwarf Gourami's maximum length is 2".  I just got two Cobra Dwarf Gourami's and one of them is 3" long. Will they get any bigger? Also, any personal experiences that anyone has had with this breed (good or bad) would be helpful.  I have mine in a 20 gallon tank with two Dalmation Mollies, two Black Skirt Tetras and a small Plecko.

I am really pleased so far with my Dwarf Gourami's. I did notice however that one of them has a feeler that was cut off half way. It doesn't seem to bother it though.  Are they able to re-grow their feelers or is it always going to be that way?

I have had these ;D THey are neat little fish 8)But, to your Question........since that is a strain i am guessing  ;) Sometimes the strains of certain fish get a little larger bc there is something with their DNA from that certain strain to aloow them to get a little bit larger ;D

Cobra Dwarf Gourami sounds like the relative to the dwarf gourami, also known as the gaint gourami. It has many stripes although it still only gets to 4 in it may just be a strand that has been so interbred it could have a longer length than usual. :D

Dwarf gouramis are great fish. They are extremely sensitive to water conditions so you have to do regular water changes or they will get sick. They are not that hard to breed (the fry is very small so you have to feed them infusoria and they grow rather slowly). It's best to keep a pair or a male and females, of course if the tank is big enough.
