I might consider dwarf hairgrass in my tanks. If I add some then what kind of fert should I use? (I only have Petco & Petsmart in my area) and would I have to gravel-vac in my tank if it forms a huge carpet? And do otos eat this hairgrass (I'm hoping for a yes so they can munch on it if I forget to feed em or watevs).
And here's a hypothetical question. If you took filter media from a, say, 100 gallon Oscar tank and seeded a 10 gallon tank, does that necessarily mean you would have to put in 18 neon tetras or something like that so the BB can survive?.
