what you have is probably a synodontis petricola. what size is he?
he should be brown with black spots, a forked black tail with white edges, black fins with white leading edges and white barbels.
I would get one or two more if you can.

synos eat snails by the way!

just a juvenile then, I also have a few at that size. On his own he will be quite reluctant to come out during the lit periods.

How are you getting on with the multies and the leleupi? Have the multies established a home yet?

My leleupis control the tank but the multies have a home they have dug a bunch of caves. If I get to close to the tank they dart into there holes. The percola cat doesnt come out very much I have alot of hidding places he only come out after feeding time maybe when I turn the lights of too. I havent seen him eat yet but he looks good still. The one snail I had in the tank that someone said wouldnt last lone is still in their. Is it benifical for my tank to have a snail in it does he clean up waste?
