Well, it may be near to impossible to sex your puffers at a juvenile age, but once they mature, it is easy. Males have a dark line running down their belly, while females do not. This line intensifies during maturity and spawning. another way is to look for wrinkles behind the eyes, if there is wrinkles, its a male, if no, then its a girl.
