I was wondering what people's experiences are with these cute little guys? Are they aggressive or not? I've heard both from different sources. I would like to keep these with other peaceful fishes, like danios, tetras, rams, cories, and gouramis. Would this be ok? Thanks for any advice!!

I would not keep them with any other fish....They usually get one male dominant in a group and he will dictate what the rest do by aggression. Might have starved off one of my little guys.

I had a friend who had these with other fish and he killed them off pretty well. With a small tank (my 2.5) you can get a few... Really you should only have one in a 2.5 but my second DP know how to hide and still gets fed fine.. they take turns, even if the dominant one cuts in line. look up dwarfpuffers.com

These guys are adorable but nippy. They will swim up to unsuspecting fish and take a bite out of their tails. They are best in species only tanks since they are also picky eaters.

yeah mine only eat frozen blood worms.... and if I was feeding them in a bigger tank with more fish I don't think the DP's will get any of them. Cool to watch them hunt snails though.
