well ya they only grow to about 1 inch or 1 1/2 inchs at tops so ya i think it would be ok for that as long as you kept them well fed at all times there known for beign very aggersive if hungry esspecialy in large groups
i found some green spotted puffers yesterday! they were so cool i put one on standby and im going back today to get him ($4.95). i did some reading about them and i gotta go buy food for them too. probably brine shrimp for now.(i have tubifex and blood worms, waiting for my snails to breed.)
