dwarf/pygmy puffer fish

im planning on getting about 2 of these in my 10G but i know most common info on them but if any body has any advice on keeping these please tell me

If your talking about Tetraodon travancoricus, then they like freshwater. They like to eat blood worms, shrimp, and snails too. Thats about it. http://home.earthlink.net/~snebluemoon/index.htm has some good info.

I didn't mean to spell "can't", I meant to spell "can". No, you could have 10 inna 10 gal. if you wanted to . You know there are several more fresh water/ brackish puffers out there. There are a few more dwarfs too.

oh cool! i would get ten then! i just said pea puffers because thats all the puffers i can remember seeing at my lfs, but i guess ill look around! thanks again!*celebrate

well ya they only grow to about 1 inch or 1 1/2 inchs at tops so ya i think it would be ok for that as long as you kept them well fed at all times there known for beign very aggersive if hungry esspecialy in large groups

I heard they're especially good if you have a snail infestation cause they love snails and they are good eaters.

ya i got about 32 about 20 are babies growing to be fed to the ones im gettin tommrow

i found some green spotted puffers yesterday! they were so cool i put one on standby and im going back today to get him ($4.95). i did some reading about them and i gotta go buy food for them too. probably brine shrimp for now.(i have tubifex and blood worms, waiting for my snails to breed.)
