Ebo Jager, I need straight awnsers!

Ok... I've had a 250w Ebo heater for a few years now, love it. No problems at all. However, one thing I need to know, is are these things submersible?? The box/instructions says they are, but then at the same they turn around and say they aren't. Which is it???

I'm refering to the new design. If anyone has any experience with submerging them, please post it; I don't want to try with my $50 heater!

Yes, they are. They aren't 'approved' to be submersible in the USA, but in every other country they are fully submersible. I'm running 2--a 200 & a 250 in my tank fully submerged with no problems.

excellent, that's what I wanted to hear, as I'm ordering a 50 for a 10g reef.

I figured they actually were, but didn't want to try it with my equipment, you know what I mean
