Ebo Jager TS 250 - Is it to big?

I recently bought a 55 gallon aquarium and have the chance to purchase a Ebo Jager TS 250 heater for the tank for a really good price. Is the heater to large for the tank? And secondly, does anyone know if this model is submersible?

The heater is a good size for the tank, and i beleive all ebo jagers are subermisible

I measured my 200w, its 17" total, 15.5" from the botton to the water level line.

Not sure why there is a water level line. LFS has them submerged.

I have the same ebo, I had to put it in diaganoally, it works great and is submerged, I think the water line is because the ebo has a low water level shutoff switch?
oh and notice the package it says water RESISTANT????? WTF

But I have had mine in my tank for 5 months, absolutely NO PROBLEMS whatsoever
