eclipse 25

I am about to get a used marineland 25 gal w/ the eclipse 2 hood(for $90). Does anyone have any comments or suggestions about this setup. I would just like to know what I am getting into.

I've had the Eclipse 3 on a 39g tank for over 7 yrs and love it. the setup is about the same as the 2. Hardest part is when scum starts to build up inder the bio wheel or inside the moter housing bt the impeller. Because the hood doesn't come apart, its a little awkward to clean. As for the impellor, I use a high pressure fitting on a garden hose and spray it clean that way. You can't get a brush in there. Overall it's a great system...ENJOY!!
