I do water changes on my tanks of about 20% every two weeks. I'm thinking about getting an Explorer for my betta. How often would one expect to do water changes on such a small tank, even though it has a Bio-Wheel system?
The biowheel wont take off days for a water change. How big is the Explorer? Im sure its 5g or less, so once or twice a week to be safe. Its not hard to take water out of a tiny tank and replace it.
Well, I've already got him in a 2 gal bowl. So there isn't much point to getting a 2 gal aquarium with a filter if I've still got to change the water twice a week, which is what I've been doing anyway.
