Eclipse vs Regent Aqua-Tech Five

I have had an Eclipse Explorer (two gallon) tank for several years now and had no problems with it. It is virtually silent, with just the occasional sound of water trickling. I had wanted to upgrade to something like the Eclipse System Six, but then I saw the Aqua-Tech Five at Walmart. It looked very similar but was only half the price. I got one and set it up, but have noticed an annoying humming/buzzing sound that I never heard from the Eclipse. Is this just because it is a bigger tank with a bigger pump, or is there something wrong? Can anyone who has one of these tanks tell me how quiet they are during normal operation? This tank has a center bar that supports the pump and filter and it may be the source of the noise (vibration) but I'm not sure what can be done about it.

Thanks for any responses.

Not to sound rude, but - Bottom line: You get what you pay for. The eclips is twice as much, it must be for a reason. Anything I've ever seen by Aqua Tech has been junk.
I think the pump/filter assembly must be made by the same company that supplies the Eclipse kits - they look identical, and even some of the enclosed product literature looks identical.

Also, Eclipse makes a "Corner Five" that is about the same price as this Aqua-Tech, so it may not be junk.

The Regent kits are indeed made by Marineland, but the quality is lower than on Marineland branded tanks. I have a 5g Regent hex I bought about 2 years ago. The filter died in it about a year ago, but the tank itself is still OK. I wouldn't say a year or 18 months is a good life expectency of a filter. I know Marineland filters I bought earlier are still running well.
