I am hoping that someone can help me out on this one.
I am new to the hobby and have just had a problem with a fungal infection in 2 of my Pineapple Swordtails. The guy at the Aquarium recommended Tetra Fungi Stop when my first fish became ill so I dosed the tank as recommended but had to euthanase the first one as it seemed to be really in pain.
After the treatment a second Swordtail also go the fungus (she had a wound on her side where one of the males had bitten her) even though she looked fine the night before and the tank still had the treatment in it.
Can anyone recommend something decent that I can get in the UK as if this happens again I want to be able to try and save my fish rather than putting them to sleep in the freezer.
