Eheim 2126 filter. I need to change the impeller shaft - Is it hard?

Just got my new impeller shaft in the mail. Is it hard to change, before I rip it out?? Do i just pull on the shaft till it comes out??

Maybe you can go to the Eheim website and see if they have some instructions you can download.

I know Marineland has instructions, complete with diagrams, which made it a snap to change my Eclipse impellers. So I'm assuming a big company like Eheim should have the same. If not, you could always email Eheim tech support for help..
