Hello All,
New to this website, wish I had found it earlier in my marriage with my African Cichlid tank..
Bought a Eheim 2217 less than a year ago.....recently, we had bad weather that caused power to go on/off multiple times over night/early morning. Well, now my once silent filter is making what I can best describe as a vibration noise from the head unit. Should I be concerned? Suggestions on what I should check?

Thanks!

May have gotten some air trapped in it causing the motor to be out of balance. When ever I get air trapped in my canisters I can normaly just shake them a little bit, or turn them from side to side to get all or at least most air out.

I agree with Orion... I have an Eheim 2222 Pro II and the only time it makes noise is when there is air trapped in the impeller... Try shaking it, and if that doesn't work, take it out and drain the canister... Re-prime and then you should be good to go....
