Eheim Thermofilters

I was curious to know if anyone owns or has experience with Eheim Thermofilters. A guy who seemed really knowledgeable said they had some probs with the classic thermo, but didn't hear of anything with the new line. It is a good bit extra to spend just to get rid of an in-tank thermometer, so I'd like to be sure if it's worth the cash.

I'm planning on getting a 2128 for a 90 gal. soon. I have a 2213 right now but I haven't used it. IMO the Eheim any thing is the best.

Eheims are great, but unless you're dealing with something megadestructive it's not worth the money i.m.o. for the thermofilter.

Thanks for your input guys. The only reason I was going with the thermo was to get rid of the unsightly heater. I wanted the tank to be like a showcase visible from four sides, but what the hel- you can't always get what ya want. I guess I'll just save a couple of bucks and try hiding it in a corner or under some plants.

Thats to bad because a 2126 would've been perfect. I hate the ugly heaters too, thats the other reason why I want a 2128.
