We bought an Eheim 2026 last week at our LFS, as it was on sale for $199. While talking to the owner, he mentioned that the box he sells comes with more than most online deals do.

I looked over at Drs. Foster & Smith and Big Als, and found that it seems to be true.

Ours came with: media, spraybar and intake extensions.

The cost of those items individually is about $60.

Anyone have any experiences with this?

When I purchased my 2028 from BigAl's, it came with the media. The spraybar and intake were the green oem ones. Is the spraybar you are referring to the smoked (grey/black) plastic one, or the green ones that should come with the filter?

It's really nice to get the media with the cannister. Purchasing that separately is a bit pricey.

Interesting. I have bought a Fluval, Jebo and Eheim canister filter since I have started keeping fish, and non of them came with spray bar in the box. I have to built my own spray bar from pieces of PVC.

Hi Lotus, just being nosy I guess. I have the 2028 model same thing just a little bigger. Just wanted to say the black/grey ones work better in my opinion. The green ones are included with the filter, but I did not like too much sice they have small holes and launched the water out.(no joke really it freaked my fish out) You can adjust the flow on it so no problem. They both work nicely, and sweet deal on the filter. I found mine on Ebay for $225 after shipping with basically everything you can buy for it.
