Electric Yellow Labs in a 55gal?

Your first question kinda depends on your second question LOL...
Most other Lake Malawi cichlids (expecially Mbuna) would work well with them. We just ordered some Acei to go with our yellow labs, and we were considering polites, demonsani, etc.. which also work well.
I'm sure Matt will chime in here, he knows alot more about africans than I do, but I hope I helped some.
Not that my opinion matters, but I think African tanks are much more attractive and rewarding if you do a species only tank, but I would suggest something more interesting than yellow labs for a species tank. Although showpiece communities can be incredibly beautiful, just take your time choosing.
