EMERGENCY! PLEASE REPLY...

One of my clarkii clowns has come down with ich!!! I am extremely new to the sw aspect of the hobby and I went to the lfs today and got some of that dip stuff. The problem is I remeber how to mix it and everything but I can't remeber how long to keep the fish in there.

Just in case here is what I think I should do (correct me if I'm wrong!)

- mix the recommended dosage with freshwater of the same temp. as your tank
- dip the fish for ? amount of time.

Is that right? Thanks everyone!

I do not know what type of product you have but the one I know say you should put so much into your tank. Just do not use carbon filter since that will clean the itch medication out of your tank.

if you where told to dip the fish then do that don't put it in the tank since it could be damaging during long term use and if you have inverts and its got copper it in you will kill them all (Inverts, shrimp, anamones, polyps and anything else that is alive but aint fish including corals)

if you aint to sure make up a mix and do the dip for 1 minute maybe twice a day.

(I cant be sertan mind you since i don't know what it is.. also ring the LFS and ask them again what the dip time was)
