I have 3...
instead of using the Marineland floss filters
with charcoal, I took the media baskets,
cut one side out and sandwished some
filter media I buy in bulk in them....
(change them every week due to having
lots of catfish)

About every six months I have to clean
the spray bar tubes, but that is no big
deal. The 400s are supplemental filters
that are on a 150 gallon catfish tank.

No complaints except for them being
noisey when throttled down (reduced
water flow)....

I have my filters on UPS. As soulfish
mentioned with power outages.... that
happens on my whispers as well.
