Ever taste fish food?

Seriously...anyone ever get the urge to do that and actually go ahead? I'm afraid to go with it...but sometimes I wonder why my fish go so crazy when I put that stuff in their tank. It must be really good *twirlysmi

Yep, Ive eaten flakes, pellets, koi food, etc

Mysis shrimp looks tempting but it says not for human consumption on the bag so Ill leave that stuff for my sw fish

Um...no I dont want to taste fish food...but one of my rats loves my plecos algae waffers bleh!

Don't know about fish food, but I've tasted hard cat food before for a loss on a bet.

Tastes like salty, meat cereal. Uggh. I'm never tasting pet food again. I figured if Ace Ventura did it...

Oooh..I forgot to say what fish foods I tasted..I've tasted the flake food, and cichlid granules. It makes me wonder why fish bother eating at all..because it IS gross tasting. Maybe they don't have the sense of taste or soemthing..

I would hate to be an aquarium fish...they have no choice but to starve or eat freeze dried processed fish..."pieces". lol. And they have no other choices or anything to compare it against! Maybe that is the key, there....no other comparison

Unless..... You give them veggies and raw shrimp for the ones that are carnivorous!

Actually, when I tried it, my little sister decided she'd be bold and try it too (she was eleven at the time)..When my mom found out, she got mad, but I still don't know why, because most fish foods are okay for human consumption. Try it as an adult, and refresh your memory on the taste!*SICK*

No I've never tried it. Althogh a frozen brine shrimp/mysis shrimp cocktail doesn't sound that bad..... with just a hint of NLS for an extra kick. lol

For some reason our cat loves flake food anytime I drop some. She's a werid cat.
