eyes bugging out

about 5 days ago i notice one of the fishes eyes were bugging out, it eats like the rest, ,, other than the eyes it apears and acts normal anyone have any idea why they would bug out like this all of a sudden ? .. i took some pictures, but of course it decides its time to hide, all the rest kept getting in the way and being camera hawgs..i attached the pictures but dont know if they will show or not

so popeye is suppose to go away on its own eventually,, right ? , none of the other fish have any symptoms of this,i do bi monthly water and filter media changeouts, have 2 emperor 400s on a 55 gal with 10 total cichlids, feed brine shrimp sat nights, omega one cichlid flakes nightly and cichlid attack granuals every other afternon or so

at that stage id give it a few days before it literally pops. move him to QT and start medicating him and have very clean water
its caused by a scratch or bruise, like said, but also an air bubble trapped behind the eye. high ammonia levels or nitrate levels will make it worse. id say do a 50% water change, if you can, and pick up some meds.

the tank has been set up for a few years, i randomly sample the water and everything allways looks good, i used to do weekly changes but since the water was allways so good i bumped it back to every other week, the fish's eyes now look like there is a big blister or bubble beside them, almost like when your shoes wear a blister, it looks like it needs to be poped
