Fake plants??

Hey all,is it ok to put fake plants in a SW tank for decor? they do it at the LFS so i imagine its ok for mine right?

Yeah, you can use fake plants! I do in my own tank. The main reason is that I don't have a sump and I use the silk plants to hide the in-tank skimmer. Once I have a HOB skimmer (hopefully in a couple of months) then I can remove the plants. They look okay, don't get me wrong, but I would rather do without them as they are a pain in the butt to keep clean......here is a photo of the right side of the tank you can just make out the skimmer behind the plants...
