Well Summer has finally hit here it was 85 degrees here today. We have no air so we have to use fans. It is in the window by my 10 gal fish tank do you think that will be ok? I hope so as I really don't have a place to move it.

When my tank heats up I just turn one a fan and point it towards my tank. it seems to work pretty good. If you know it will be hot I suggest that you turn the fan one the tank before it heats up and keep it on till the temp drops at night. I heard that you can float a bag of ice in the tank to cool it also but I haven't tried it, to afraid to get a hot and cold spots in the tank. You should be fine with just a fan and try to keep the lights off on the tank if possible too.

:) The fan is for us humans. I was wondering how bad it would affect the fish and if it could cool there water down to be to low. It (fan) isn't directly blowing in the tank.
