Fantastic behaviour!

I noticed some new behavour in my tank last night, it was amazing!!! 2 of my yellow labs were swimming round, then met up with each other, they sort of then went head to tail and started swimming circles round each other at lightning speed! Round and round they went, then another joined in, they were going round in a perfect circle, it looked like a yellow donut! What the hell were they doing!?!? It lasted for about 30 seconds alltogether!

ahh, that is a classic african cichlid fight for dominance!

usually one will give up sooner or later, and the winner will no longer have to fight the other one, just keep an eye on them.

most of the time there is no physical damage done though.
