I currently have 5 Jack Dempseys in my tank. The more dominant ones are very aggressive towards the other three and I need to pull them out. What is the best method to catching these fish. My tank in very rocky so they can hide very easily. Any tricks or tips I should know about??
You could try taking them by suprise after lights have been out for a few hours. Usually the fish are still dazed when you put the light back on and are easier to net.
i my best method is going with the food trick, i dont feed them for a day then bam its way easier. but put the net in the water before the food so that they arn't spooked by it going in whilst eating.
