I bought 3 chain loach to help with a snail problem in my 10 gal, they have decimated the snail population and only the adult snails now survive, however I can't get 2 out of the 3 to eat anything other than live bloodworm even frozen doesn't work for these two.

One is looking good with a nice rotund belly the other two are starting to waste away, I've tried granule food, flake food, shrimp pellets but they don't bother with any of it.

any ideas?

my loaches eat pretty much anything, but they thrive on live bloodworms which are cheap in my LFS, but i also notice they go crazy for these red bits of food called crab bites or something they are micro small granuals and they eat them like no tomorrow. most loaches like to scavange so try leaving some food on bottom if possible so they can search for it and eat it. I have horse loaches that don't eat food as i drop it they constantly sift sand through their mouth and eat the scraps from bottom.
