Well I lost alot of my cleaners recently from what I am guessing was lack of food.

I want to get some more hermits and maybe add to my 4 astrea snails, and was just wondering if Marine Food pellets would be an adequite food supply to keep them alive until I add fish (which will be after I setup my QT tank). Ive been feeding my cleaner shrmp one large pellet a day, but would the small pellets and the green algea keep my cleaners alive?

cleaners dont really eat algae...i would think shrimp would do better with flake or frozen because they are soft, but i could be wrong about that...it just seems like the cleaners would have a tough time getting a pellet in their mouths

That is the flake food I have from my freshwater tanks.

I also have these from my freshwater tank aswell.

And these are those small marine pellets I had for my clowns.

I have frozen mysis shrimp, but dont use it on the tank, and dont plan on until I get my fish.

Ott of these options would the TetraMin flakes be the best bet and just have them decinigrate into the tank for the cleaners?

the cleaners will grab a whole one and kind of fold it up into their mouths...i dont know if they will go for the FW flake or not but i suppose its worth a shot...i don't know what the nutritional differences are either though
