I feed my emerald corydoras Aqueon shrimp pellets.

Or should I say, I sprinkle some in the tank, but I've never seen one actually eat one? Is this pretty common with this type of fish?

They are skittish little buggers. They spook easily, but will come out and cruise around if you're sitting there watching them calmly.

They will usually come out and nibble at the shrimp pellets - the little cories fresh from the store are probably too small to suck the whole thing up and munch it, but they will all gather around it and pick at the bits that float off as it breaks down in the water.

Some weeks ago I picked up a jar of Aqueon shrimp pellets for bottom feeders. My 4 little corys LOVE them.

The only issue is I have to feed them at lights-out or the other piglets in the tank will get them first. They are tiny pellets, about twice the size of a beebee.

My 5 blood-fin tetras are unreal at seeking out anything slightly resembling food and the pearl gourami is like a vacuum cleaner.
